Browsing this site

The servers that deliver the site may nevertheless process technical data needed for its operation and security: IP address, date and time, requested URL, browser information and response codes.

Data, purposes and retention

When you contact us by email

Data: email address, name if you provide it, message content and any attachments. Sending is voluntary; a reply address and the information relevant to your request are needed to answer you.

Purpose and legal basis: answering your request, based on the publisher’s legitimate interest in communicating with users.

Retention: emails are kept for up to three years after the last contact, then deleted, unless required by law or needed to establish or defend legal claims.

Server technical logs

Purpose and legal basis: ensuring operation, detecting incidents and preventing abuse, based on the legitimate interest in securing the site.

Retention: up to twelve months, in line with the publisher’s retention policy, unless required by law or needed to handle an incident.

Visitor statistics

Data: information from the server logs: IP address truncated as soon as it is processed (last part masked), date and time, page viewed, referring site, browser and operating system type. Search engine crawlers are excluded.

Purpose and legal basis: knowing the number of visits and the most viewed pages, as aggregate statistics, based on the publisher’s legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used. The statistics are produced on the publisher’s server by free software (GoAccess), with no cookie or script in your browser; they are neither shared with third parties nor combined with other data.

Retention: up to twenty-five months.

This site does not build advertising profiles or make automated decisions producing legal effects on visitors.

Cookies and local storage

This site’s code sets no cookies and uses neither localStorage nor sessionStorage. Choices made in the demo, such as its theme, are temporary and are not kept after reloading.

Since no tracker requiring your consent is built in, no consent banner is displayed. If such tools are added, this policy and the collection of consent will have to be adapted before they are enabled.

Recipients and hosting

Data is accessible to the publisher and, within the limits of their tasks, to the technical providers handling hosting and email. It is neither sold nor passed on to partners for marketing purposes.

The site is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd., on infrastructure located in the European Union. The host’s contact details are given in the legal notice.

The site includes no tracking service or remote content causing a transfer to an AI provider. Following a link to GitHub or another external service, or opening your email software, means using a separate service governed by its own privacy policy. Any transfers made by these services depend on their terms.

Your rights

Under the conditions set out in the GDPR, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing of your data. You may object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on legitimate interest.

The right to data portability applies to automated processing based on consent or a contract when it meets the legal conditions. You may also set out instructions regarding your data after your death.

To exercise your rights, write to contact@agent-ely.fr, specifying your request. If there is reasonable doubt about your identity, only the information needed to verify it may be requested.

You will receive a reply within one month of receipt of your request. This period may be extended by two months for complex or numerous requests; you will be informed of this within the first month.

You may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL) (website in French).

Your ELY installation

This policy describes the presentation site, not all the processing carried out by an ELY installation. Processing by the Android app is described in the app privacy policy. ELY’s conversations, files and memories are stored on the machine that hosts it.

When you choose a cloud model, the context needed for the tasks is sent to its provider. Connected services and visited sites also receive the information needed for the actions carried out. ELY 2 does not include the automatic anonymization mechanism of the previous version.

Model choices, connections and access are configured by the user or the administrator. Professional use requires setting appropriate rules for the data of the people concerned and reviewing the terms of each provider.
